You can operate your TV by using the buttons on the front panel or the

 

 

remote control. The front and back panels provide all the inputs you will

 

 

need to connect other equipment to your TV.

Selecting a location for the TV

Place the TV on the floor or on a sturdy platform in a location where light does not directly hit the screen.

Place the TV far enough from the walls to allow proper ventilation. Inadequate ventilation may cause overheating, which may damage the TV.

The STARTING SETUP feature appears the first time you turn on the TV. See page 19 for details.

Notes:

To open the menu system, you can either press MENU on the remote control or simultaneously press both VOLUME buttons (and ) on the front panel.

When a menu is open, to select the desired setting, you can use either the arrow buttons on the remote control or the CHANNEL /and VOLUME /buttons on the front panel.
