Watching TV programs
Viewing Digital programs - digital only -
After you have tuned the TV, you have several ways to
navigate through all programs:
•Press the Number buttons (a channel number has 4-digits)
and you may omit the leading zeroes, which will be
appended automatically; (Please note that if you have
channels with different frequencies but the same channel
number, the TV will always tune to the first channel that has
been stored into the channel database. To view the other
duplicating channels, you can select the channels from the
Navigation List (see below) or use the PU / Pu buttons.)
•Press PU / Pu to view the previous and next program. The
channels are arranged in ascending order according to the
channel number.
• Press twice to display Favorite channel list and press
or to select a program, then press Q to view the
favorite program. Alternatively activating the Favorite
Mode, then press PU / Pu to select channels in Favorite
channel list. See page 31 for more details.

Selecting channel from Navigation List

- digital only -
1When viewing in Digital TV, press to display the
Navigation List.
2Press , , and to select previewed program, then
press Q.
3Press P to exit the menu and watch the previewed
channel.
4Press twice to display Favorite channel list.
Changing the program position - analog only -
1Enter the desired program position number using the
Number buttons on the remote control.
For program positions below 10, use 0 and the required
number e.g., for program position 1.
2You can also change the program position by using PU or
Pu.
The program position will be displayed on the screen with
the Mono/Stereo/Dual audio status.
Note:
The program position selection change between different
format channels takes several seconds.

Switching between two program positions

You can switch two program positions without entering actual
position number each time.
1Select the first program position you want to view.
2Select the second program position with the Number
buttons (0-9).
3Press :. The previous channel will be displayed.
Each time you press :, the TV will switch back and forth
between the two program positions.
Selecting the menu language - analog only -
Choose from 9 different languages (English, Chinese (CS),
Malay, Thai, Vietnamese, Russian, Arabic, Persian or French)
for the On-Screen-Display.
1Press M, then press or to display SET UP menu.
2Press or to select Language.
3Press or to select the desired language.

Displaying the on-screen information

- analog only -
1Press k to display the following on-screen information.
The information will disappear in 6 seconds.
• Program position or external input mode selected
• Program skip on/off information
• Label (if set)
• Mono/Stereo/Dual audio status
2To close the display instantly, press k again.
On-screen information - digital only -
When viewing in Digital TV, the on-screen information (I-
Plate) will give the details of the channel program currently
being viewed.
1Press c, to display the I-Plate.
