Cable TV (CATV/DTV) connection

• A 75 ohm coaxial cable (F-type) connector is built into the TV for easy hookup.

Note:

When connecting 75 ohm (RF) coaxial cable to the TV,

HAND-TIGHTEN only.

NEVER use tools to tighten F-type connectors. Using tools may damage the TV. This type of damage is NOT COVERED BY YOUR WARRANTY.

Some cable TV companies offer “premium pay channels.” Since the signals of these premium pay channels are scrambled, a cable TV converter/descrambler is generally provided to the subscriber by the cable TV company. This converter/descrambler is necessary for normal viewing of the scrambled channels.
