When uploading a file, the procedure is similar to downloading. Enter “/u” instead of “/d” for the action parameter of the xmodem command. Once the xmodem upload command is entered, the user will have 30 seconds to click the “send” button on the tool bar in HyperTerminal and initiate the xmodem upload transaction. Upon successful completion of the xmodem upload, the point file that was sent will become the unit’s active point configuration. The previous point configuration cannot be recovered.
