Indication	Meaning
	This indicates the existence of a
DANGER	hazard that could result in death or
	serious bodily injury, if the safety
	instruction is not observed.
	This indicates the existence of a
WARNING	hazard that could result in bodily
	injury, if the safety instruction is not
	observed.
CAUTION	This indicates the existence of a
	hazard that could result in bodily
	injury *1 or property damage *2.

*1: “Bodily injury” means injuries, burns, and shock which does not require hospitalization or prolonged treatment.

*2: “Property damage” means extended harm to home, household effects, domesticated animals, and pets.

Indicates a prohibited action that must not be carried out.

The actual prohibited action is indicated in the symbol or nearby graphically or described in text.

Indicates a necessary action that must be carried out.

The actual necessary action is indicated in the symbol or nearby graphically or described in text.

•Toshiba Corporation accepts no liability whatsoever for any damages arising from malfunctions arising from combination with equipment or software that is not related to Toshiba Corporation.
