Warnings and Messages Displayed on LCD Monitor

The following warnings, messages and icons are displayed on the LCD monitor and the status display.

	Display		Meaning
LCD monitor		Status display
			Batteries are partially used.
			Battery power is nearing exhaustion.
			Batteries are completely exhausted. Camera
			will not turn on.
CARD ERROR		Flashing	The SmartMedia™ is damaged.
			An unsupported SmartMedia™ is loaded.
CARD LID OPEN		–––	The SmartMedia™ cover is open.
CARD FULL		Display 0	No more space on the SmartMedia™.
			Recording is not possible.
NO CARD		–––	No SmartMedia™ is loaded
			SmartMedia™ is loaded incorrectly
CARD ISN’T FORMATED		–––	The SmartMedia™ is not initialized.
			The SmartMedia™ format is incorrect.
FORMAT CARD?		–––	The SmartMedia™ is not formatted (initialized).
			The SmartMedia™ format is incorrect.
FRAME NUMBER FULL		–––	The frame number has reached 999-9999.
PROTECTED		–––	The image is write-protected.
NO IMAGE		–––	The image to apply the resize, quality or other
			function does not exist.
CARD FULL		–––	There is not enough space on the
			SmartMedia™ to copy image data to.
FORMAT ERROR		–––	The format of the SmartMedia™ to copy image
			data to is incorrect.
CARD PROTECTED		–––	The SmartMedia™ is write-protected.
