Playing in a Favourite Order

 Setting titles, chapters, or tracks in a favourite orderPlaying in a Favourite Order

You can combine your favorite titles, chapters, or tracks and play them in the order you determine. You can program up to 30 selections into the memory. (Memory playback)

1 Insert a disc and press MEMORY during stop. Setting titles, chapters, or tracks in a favourite order

1 Insert a disc and press MEMORY during stop.

The following display appears.

e.g.

2 Select the items in the order you want by pressing the number buttons.

Each time you press the 3 Press  /  / /  to move the highlighted / bar to Play Program, then press the / /  To change the programmed selections button, the space is highlighted in turn. Highlight where you want to enter, then press the corresponding number buttons.

To select another chapter in the same title, you do not need to select the title number.

To select tracks from a VIDEO CD/audio CD in order, press the number buttons for the track.

3 Press  To cancel the programmed selections /  To resume normal playback from memory playback / /  To program during playback to move the highlighted

bar to Play Program, then press the

ENTER.

The DVD video player starts memory playback.

Manual background To change the programmed selections

1While the display appears on the TV screen, press Manual background / Manual background / / Manual background to move the highlighted bar to the item you want to change.

2Change the selection following the instructions in step 2.

Manual background To cancel the programmed selections

1While the display appears on the TV screen, press Manual background / Manual background to move the highlighted bar to the item you want to cancel.

2Press CLEAR.

Manual background To resume normal playback from memory playback

Press MEMROY button.

Press Manual background / Manual background / / Manual background to move the highlighted bar to Clear All, then press the ENTER. All the input programmes will be cleared.

Press MEMORY button again to resume normal playback

Normal playback will start from current location.

Manual background To program during playback

If you press the MEMORY button during playback, a programming display appears.

Follow steps 2 and 3.

Notes

Some discs may not permit memory playback operation.

If you press the PLAY MODE button during memory playback, the DVD video player repeats the current memory playback.

If you press the MEMORY or RETURN button while the display appears on the TV screen, the display disappears.

The programmed selections will be cleared when you turn off the DVD video player.
