To check the damper is functioningcorrectly, the ECA is equipped withan indicator light in the middle ofthe board. This light operates as inTable 42.

While setting the minimum positionthe damper may move towards thenew setting in several small steps.Once the damper has remained inthe same position for 10 to 15seconds it can be assumed it is inthe new position.
