Returning Products
If you need to return a TROY product for any reason (failures, incorrect ship- ments, etc.), first contact TROY at +1 (208)
If the unit is not in warranty, you will be billed for the standard repair charges. If you do not have a valid TROY account number, you may be asked for payment in advance (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, check, or money order).
Warranty
TROY WindConnect products are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five years. This period begins upon the date of ship- ment if the Hardware is installed by the Purchaser, or upon installation if the Hardware is installed by TROY. During the warranty period, TROY will repair or replace the unit at no charge provided it is returned to TROY freight prepaid as described in the "Returning Products" section of this chapter. To ensure prompt service, please fill out the enclosed warranty card.
The warranty on repaired products or replacement products is 30 days or the last day of the warranty of the original defective product, whichever is longer.
This warranty does not apply if the Product has been damaged by accident, mis- use, natural catastrophe, modification, improper service, or conditions resulting from causes external to the Product. The warranty shall be void if the TROY seri- al numbers have been removed.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES. THE ABOVE WARRANTIES ARE THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTIES, AND NO OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, SHALL APPLY. TROY SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
PURCHASER'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY, REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF ACTION, WHETHER CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL BE TROY'S OBLIGATION TO REPAIR OR REPLACE AS SET FORTH ABOVE.
