To test the connection

1. Pick up the hands et from the cradle .
2. Dial the numb er you want to call, t hen press
cell
on the handset. You may not
hear a dial tone or ringing , but the handset dis play says Talk.
3. Make sure the c all connects a nd you can hear clea rly. (When you’re finished,
press
end
to hang up.)
The D3580 remembers the pairin g information for your ce llular; if it lose s
connection with your phone for any re ason (e.g., the cell phone tr avels out of
range, runs out of charge, etc .), the D3580 can automatica lly reconnect th e
next time your phone becomes avai lable.

Using the D3580 with four Bluetooth phones

The D3580 can save the pairin g information for four d ifferent Bluetooth phone s,
but it can only use one cellular l ine at any given time . For example, if you pai r the
D3580 to four Bluetooth phones, when you press
cell
on the handset, the D3580
asks which phone you want to connect to.
If you are using the D3580 to talk o n one Bluetooth phone, the D3580 w ill not
ring if a call comes in on anot her phone.
You can set a different ring tone for each pa ired cell phone (see page 8).
To pair another Bluetooth phone, just repe at the pairing pro cedure with the ne w
phone. (If the paired phones interfer e when you’re pairing the new one , just turn
off Bluetooth on any paired phones u ntil you finis h pairing the new one .)
