Storing Long Numbers in Memory

Attimes you may need to program a number longer than 16 digits- for your alternate long distance service or for telephone banking. To get around the 16 digit limitation (concerning memory location stor- age), divide the number between two different locations-. Assign the first part of the number to one memory location, and assign the sec-

ond part to another.-

EXAMPLE:

Toprogram 100-639-5975-239-51 6237,you coulddivideit as

It is best to split the number at pauses or convenient breaks in the sequence, especially if you need to wait for necessary tones or signals before continuing.
