TTo change the port used for web service communication between the Portal Server and VOD-W

1.Open IIS (go to Start > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager).

2.Select the web site for the web service from the tree on the left (go to ComputerName >

Web Sites > Default Web Site).

3.Right-click on Default Web Site and select Properties.

4.On the Web Site tab, change the TCP port to match the port configured on the Portal

Server (80 in the example above).

Note The VOD-W Server requires a license file and a matching dongle key. If either is missing, you will get a popup error message after a reboot. To reinstall the license file, see Reinstalling the Software on page 47.

Adding External Storage

If you purchased a system with external storage, the storage is configured and shipped with the VOD-W server—no additional configuration is required. If you are adding external storage at a later date, see Adding Storage to 1850/2850 Servers on page 55 or
