Viewing License Status

TTo view the current license status

1.Launch the QVOD Server Console.

2.Review the information of the splash page for current status: Maximum Number of

Streams and Maximum Throughput.

Uninstalling the Software

This procedure does not delete or remove any content that has already been ingested. To remove ingested content, use the content deletion procedures before or after installation.

TTo uninstall the VOD-W software

1.Go to Start > Programs > QuickVideo OnDemand Server > Uninstall QVOD Server to

uninstall the QuickVideo OnDemand Server.

2.For a cleaner un-install, you should also uninstall the database components. To un-install

database components, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs and un-installMicrosoft SQL Server Desktop Engine.

3.Go to the file system and delete the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server.

4.To un-install the remaining VBrick VOD-W components, go to Start > Settings > Control

Panel > Add or Remove Programs and un-installEtherneTV-VOD-W.

5.Reboot the host after un-installing these items.

If you are planning to reinstall the VOD-W software, delete the following folders in

C:\Program Files:

Infovalue

Microsoft SQL Server

MSDE Redistribution

VBrick

The license file will remain in C:\Windows\System. If you are reinstalling the VOD-W software, there is no need to reload the license file.
