- [Exp Val]: (Exposure Value)
Exposure compensation lets you change the e xposure setting (EV
value) manually to adjust the lighting of your subject. This feature helps
to achieve better results when recording a backlight subject, a strongly
light subject indoors, or a subject that is against a dark background.
1. Push the joystick up or down to adjust the compensa tion.
2. Press the joystick to confirm.
• The settings can be adjusted in 1/2 steps with in the range -2 and +2.
You can check the result of the compensati on by viewing the image
on the TFT.
[Size]: (Picture Size)
You can change the picture size settin gs to suit your purpose.
L (Large) 12Mpix for enlarged picture size; produces higher picture
resolution and large r file size.
M (Medium)(*) 5Mpix for standard picture size; produces normal picture
resolution and middle file size.
S (Small) 3Mpix for small picture size; pro duces lower picture
resolution and smalle r file size.
VGA 640x480 for large video size; p roduces high picture resolutio n
and large file size.
QVGA 320x240 for small video size; pro duces low picture resolution
and small file size.
