¿Por qué silverscreen™ es diferente a cualquier otra tecnología?

Al aplicar luz ultravioleta al dióxido de titanio (Ti02), ocurre una reac- ción química. Esta reacción se denomina Oxidación Fotocatalítica. La luz ultravioleta puede causar que el medio de Ti02 se degrade y empiece a perder su efectividad, en algunos casos hasta en 90 días. La tecnología silverscreen™ de Vornado utiliza un proceso de re- vestimiento patentado para mantener la vida de la pantalla de TiO2 durante cinco años o más sin que el rendimiento se degrade. Sólo necesita cambiar la bombilla ultravioleta una vez al año para man- tener el máximo rendimiento de su purificador de aire.
