HANDSET X
IS CALLING

During a cal l, press INT to put t he cal l on hold at t he
originating handset. The screen displays TRANSFER TO:
Use t he d ialing keys to e nter t he d estination hand set
number. The originating handset screen displays CALLING
HANDSET X.
The des tination h andset ri ngs and its screen displays
HANDSET X IS CALLING.
To answe r the call at the destinat ion handset, press
/FLASH, /SPEAKER, INT or any dialing key (0-9, #,
*) on the destination handset.
Now t he par ty at the origin ating handset can have a
conversation with the party at the destination hands et.
Both screens display INTERCOM.
Press OFF/CLEAR on the originating handset, or place
it back in the telephone base or charger to transfer the external call to the
destination handset. The originating handset displays CALL TRANSFERED.
If you wish to cancel call transfer during intercom mode and reconnect to the
external call:
Press /FLASH on the originating handset.
-OR-
Press OFF/CLEAR or INT on the destination hand set, or place it back in the
telephone base or charger.
