SAFETY PROTECTION SYSTEMS

This unit has protection safeguards that shut off the unit when components become excessively hot or if it tips over.

IF OVERHEATED

If heater becomes overheated, it will shut down automatically and the yellow Overheat Indicator will illuminate.

Remove any nearby objects that may be causing overheat conditions. Keep at least three feet of space on all sides of the unit to allow adequate air circulation.

Use the unit in a well-ventilated area.

Place the unit on a flat, smooth, stable surface.

The unit will restart automatically when it has cooled sufficiently: the yellow

Overheat Indicator light will turn off. Note: This cool-down period could take 30-45 minutes.

IF TIPPED OVER

If the unit tips over onto its front or back, it will shut down automatically. The yellow Overheat Indicator will NOT illuminate at that time. Place the unit on a flat, smooth, stable surface in order to prevent it from tipping over again. Caution: Front of unit will be hot. Handle with care. The unit will restart automatically. Note: The unit will not shut down if tipped over onto either side. If this occurs, simply replace unit to the upright position.
