CLEANING YOUR FOOD CHOPPER

1.Always unplug cord from electrical outlet before removing parts for cleaning.

2.All parts, with the exception of base, may be washed in hot soapy water, rinse and dry. Do not use any abrasive scouring pads or cleanser on parts as scratching will occur. CAUTION: To prevent personal injury, handle chopping blade carefully as it is sharp. Do not leave cutting blade in dishwater to soak. Wash, rinse and dry immediately after use.

Note: All parts with exception of the chopper base may be cleaned in an automatic dishwasher, TOP RACK ONLY. Wipe base with a damp cloth and dry.

Note: Some food, such as carrots, will stain the plastic parts. To remove these stains, scour with a non-abrasive cleanser.

Storing the Food Chopper: Store chopping blade inside covered chopping bowl on base. Push cord into cord storage area on back of base.

Note: The chopping blade is made of stainless steel to maintain its sharp cutting edge. Do not attempt to sharpen the cutting edge of blade, as damage will occur.
