For the past two years, Back to Basics Design Engineer Claude Brandt has been an energetic force at Back to Basics. His ideas have landed him the coveted title of “patent-holder,” which he humbly admits is one of the reasons he enjoys being an inventor.

With the help of Eric Hales, another vital member of Back to Basics’ Design Team, the two engineers worked tirelessly to create a new smoothie maker with enhanced features and improved functionality that results in delicious, thick smoothies every time. The AutoServe Smoothie Maker, with its revolutionary auto-powered dispensing valve, represents their combined pursuit of design excellence and resulted only after hundreds of smoothies, icy drinks and creamy shakes were made…to perfection!
