MOUNTING AND WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: Underwriters Laboratories (UL) does not require all fixtures to have ground wires. These fixtures meet all UL specifications.

1.Turn off power at circuit box to avoid possible electric shock.

2.Thread mounting screws (A) into universal mounting plate or cross bar (B) approximately 1/4 inch (see fig. 1).

3.Secure universal mounting plate or cross bar (B) to outlet box (C) with outlet box screws (D) (not included).

4.Secure harp (E) to socket (F) with screws (G).

5.Identify color coding of fixture wires (see fig. 2).

6.To connect wires, take black fixture wire (group A from fig. 2) and place evenly against black outlet box wire. Do not twist wires.

7.Fit wire connector (H from fig. 1) overwires and twist until there is a firm connection. If wire connector (H) easily comes off, reattach and check again for a firm connection.

8.Repeat steps 6 and 7with the white (group B from fig. 2) fixture wires and outlet box wires.

9.Partially thread green grounding screw (I) into side hole (J) on universal mounting plate or cross bar (B) (see fig. 1).

10.Wrap ground wire from fixture around green grounding screw (I) leaving enough excess wire to then connect ground wire and outlet box wire with wire connector (H) (see step 7).

11.Tighten green grounding screw (I). Do not over tighten.

12.Tuckwires inside outlet box (C).

FIXTURE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Warning: This fixture is for indoor use only.

1.Install hooks (S) to canopy loops (T) and loops (U) to S hooks (V).

2.Raise canopy (K) to ceiling allowing mounting screws (A) to protrude through openings in canopy (K) and secure into place with cap nuts (L) (see fig. 1).

3.Install lamp(s). Do not exceed recommended wattage.

4.Thread coupling (M) into nipple 1 (N1).

5.Thread hex nut (O) onto nipple 2 (N2) then thread nipple 2 (N2) onto coupling (M) and secure with hex nut (O).

6.Place glass shade (P) and decorative cap (Q) over nipple 2 (N2), and secure with finial (R).

7.Turn power back on at circuit box.
