MOUNTING AND WIRING INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: Underwriters Laboratories (UL) does not require all fixtures to have ground wires. These fixtures meet all UL specifications.

.Turn off power at circuit box to avoid possible electric shock.

.Secure mounting bar (A) to outlet box (B) with outlet box screws (C) (not included) (see fig. 1).

.Thread hex nut 1 (D1) onto mounting nipple (E) approximately 1/4 inch and insert lock washer (F), then thread mounting nipple (E) onto mounting bar (A) and secure hex nut 1 (D1).

.Thread hex nut 2 (D2) onto nipple 1 (G1), then thread nipple 1 (G1) into coupling 1 (H1) and secure with hex nut 2 (D2).

.Slide top cover (I) down over nipple 1 (G1) and secure with fixture loop (J).

NOTE: Do not twist or kinkwires when sliding top cover (I) and fixture loop (J) downward.

.Thread hex nut 3 (D3) onto nipple 2 (G2), then thread nipple 2 (G2) into coupling 2 (H2) and secure with hex nut 3 (D3).

.Place bottom cover (K) over nipple 2 (G2) and secure with finial (L).

.Open one link on bottom end of chain (M). Attach to fixture loop (J). Securely close link on chain (M).

.Thread screw collar ring (N) onto screw collar (O), then place canopy (P) over top of screw collar (O).

.Lace wires up through every other link on chain (M) then through screw collar (O), canopy (P), and mounting nipple (E).

.Open one link on top end of chain (M). Attach to loop on screw collar (O). Securely close link on chain (M).

.Identify color coding of fixture wires (see fig. 2).

.To connect wires, take black fixture wire (group A from fig. 2) and place evenly against black outlet box wire. Do not twist wires.

.Fit wire connector (Q from fig. 1) over wires and twist until there is a firm connection. If wire connector (Q) easily comes off, reattach and check again for a firm connection.

.Repeat steps 13 and 14 with the white (group B from fig. 2) fixture wires and outlet box wires.

.Partially thread green grounding screw (R) into side hole (S) on mounting bar (A) (see fig. 1).

.Wrap ground wire from fixture around green grounding screw (R) leaving enough excess wire to then connect ground wire and outlet box wire with wire connector (Q), if applicable.

.Tighten green grounding screw (R). Do not over tighten.

.Remove screw collar ring (N) from screw collar (O) and secure screw collar (O) to mounting nipple (E).

.Tuckwires inside outlet box (B).

.Raise canopy (P) to ceiling and secure screw collar ring (N) to screw collar (O).

FIXTURE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
