Changing the temperwture setting

When in Keep Warm, the Display will show the time counting down from 60 minutes.

When Keep Warm Cycle is over, you will hear 3 beeps. When the beep- ing stops, the Display will show the time of day. The food can be re- moved any time during the Keep Warm cycle. After removing the food, touch CHANGE/CANCEL Pad twice to cancel Keep Warm.

For casseroles, the tip of the probe should be in the center of the food. Stir foods when recom- mended. Replace the probe.

For liquids, balance the probe on a wooden spoon or spatula so the tip of the probe is in the center of the liquid.

For roasts, the tip of the probe should be in the center of the largest muscle, but not touching fat or bone.

Changing the temperwture setting

-Touch CHANGE/CANCEL Pad once.

(Note: The oven will go off and the Display will show an “F”) -Touch Numbers for new temperature setting.

-Touch START.

use hot pads when removing probe from food or food from oven.

stir foods during cooking when recommended.

stir soups, casseroles and drinks before serving.

cover roasts with foil and let stand a few minutes after cooking. Remove foil if you de- cide to cook it longer.

let probe cable or probe touch any part of the oven interior. Damage to the probe or the oven could result.

let probe touch foil (if used]. Arcing could re- sult. Foil can be kept away from probe with wooden toothpicks. Remove foil if arcing occurs.

use paper, plastic wrap or plastic containers. Fire could result. They will be in the oven too long.

use probe in regular oven. Damage to probe will result.

force probe into frozen food. Damage to probe will result.

Cleaning the probe

1.Remove probe from microwave oven using hot pads.

2.Wipe probe with a hot sudsy cloth. Use a plastic scouring pad to remove stubborn

foods.

3 Do not clean the probe in the dishwasher.
