If You Need Assistance Or Service

This section is designed to help you save the axt of a service call. First we outline possible problems, their causes and their solutions. However, you may still need assistance or service. When calling our Consumer Assistance Center for help or calling for service, you will need to provide a complete descrip- tion of the problem, your appliance’s complete model and serial numt>ers and the purchase date. (See page 2.) This information is needed to respond to your request property.

1. Before calling for assistance . . .

Performance problems often result from little things you can find and fix without tools of any kind. Please check the chart below for problems you can fii. ft could save you the cost of a service call.

The unit is not wired into a live circuit with proper voltage.

A household fuse has blown or a circuit breaker has tripped.

The Oven Selector is not turned to BAKE or BROIL

The Oven Temperature Control is not turned to a temperature setting.

The automatic MEALTIMER” clock Is not set correctly

The Stop or Start Time Knobs for the automatic MEALTIMER” clock are not set at the correct time of day.

You broil often.

Soil is on door.

Soil is caused by sugar and starchy spills.

Wire the unit into a live circuit with proper voltage. (See Installation Instructions.)

Replace household fuse or reset circuit breaker.

Turn the Oven Selector to the desired setting.

Turn the Oven Temperature Control to a temperature setting.

Set the MEALTIMER clock correctly. (See “Usingthe automatic MEALTIMER- clock on page 13.)

ffa delay start or stop is not desired, the Stop and Start Time Knobs must be turned to the correct time of day. Turn knobs till they pop out.

The special finish is designed to gradually reduce oven sol1 during normal baking or roasting. ft is not designed to keep your oven spotless, only presentably dean. lf you broil often, you may see oven soil. Follow hand-cleaning tips on page 18.

The door is cooler than the oven walls. Soil will be more visible on the door than other areas in the oven. See hand-deaning tips on page 18.

Sugar and starchy spills may leave stains. See page 18 for handcleaning tips. Keep toll on oven bottom to catch these spills.
