Temp Mode
■Press TEMP MODE to select either Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature displays.
Quick Cool
Use Quick Cool to speed the cooling of large grocery loads. Quick Cool sets the refrigerator temperature to 34°F (1°C) and the freezer temperature to
NOTE: While Quick Cool is on, the display shows the Quick Cool temperature set points. After 24 hours or when Quick Cool is manually turned off, the set points will be returned to their previous setting.
■Press QUICK COOL to select this mode. Quick Cool will stay on for 24 hours or until it is manually turned off.
Convertible DrawerTemperature Control
The control can be adjusted to properly chill meats or vegetables. The air inside the pan is cooled to prevent “spot” freezing and can be set to keep meats at the National Livestock and Meat Board recommended storage temperatures of 28° to 32°F
To Store Meat:
Set the control to one of the three MEAT settings to store meat at its optimal storage temperature.
To Store Vegetables:
Set the control to PRODUCE to store vegetables at their optimal storage temperatures.
NOTE: If food starts to freeze, move the control to the left (less cold). Remember to wait 24 hours between adjustments.
CrisperHumidityControl

You can control the amount of humidity in the
LOW (open) for best storage of fruits and vegetables with skins. HIGH (closed) for best storage of fresh, leafy vegetables.
IceMagic® System
Use the IceMagic® System during periods of heavy ice usage.
NOTE: While using the IceMagic® System, you may need to set the meat pan temperature control to a higher (less cool) setting. See “Convertible Drawer Temperature Control.”
■Press ICEMAGIC function to select this mode. The IceMagic® feature will stay on until it is manually turned off.
NOTE: Using the IceMagic® System may make some foods in the freezer, such as ice cream, harder.
■Press ICEMAGIC function a second time to deselect this mode.
Door Alarm
Use the Door Alarm to hear and see a signal when the door has been left open.
■Press DOOR ALARM to turn the alarm on. If either compartment door is left open for more than 10 minutes, the alarm will sound every 2 minutes and the indicator light will flash.
NOTE: The refrigerator and freezer interior lights will turn off if a door is left open for more than 10 minutes, whether the alarm is turned on or off.
■Reset the Door Alarm by simply closing the door.

Depending on your model, your water and ice dispensers may have one or more of the following features: a rotating water dispenser faucet and
NOTES:
■Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
■If your model has a base grille filter system, make sure the base grille filter is properly installed.
■The dispensing system will not operate when the freezer door is open.
■After connecting the refrigerator to a water source, flush the water system by dispensing water into a sturdy container until you draw and discard 1.5 gal. (5.4 L) of water, or for approximately 3 minutes after the water begins dispensing. The flushing process cleans the water system and clears air from the lines. As the air is cleared from the lines, water may spurt out of the dispenser.
■Allow several hours for the refrigerator to cool down and chill water.
■Allow 24 hours to produce the first batch of ice. Discard the first three batches of ice produced.
