| Cleaning | the contoured | well areas |
| The contoured well is a recessed area located | ||
| around each burner. If spills occur in the con- | ||
| toured well section, blot up spill with an absorbent | ||
| cloth. Wipe with a clean, damp cloth and dry. | ||
| When cleaning the cooktop area or around the | ||
| burner base, use care to prevent damage to the | ||
| ignitor. If a cleaning cloth should catch the metal | ||
| ignitor electrode, it could damage or break the | ||
| electrode. If the electrode is damaged or broken, | ||
| the surface burner will not light. When cleaning | ||
| the cooktop, leave the burner cap in place to | ||
Contoured well area |
| protect the | electrode from | possible damage. |
