BRUSH DRIVE MOTOR

WARNING

The internal sdution hoses are encased in an outer hose to protect the e k P W components in me unlikely event a solution hose should fup lure. Replace hoses asoriginally supp(i6dIn lhe machine. paying panicular attention to which outer hose is not damped.

CAUTION

Wlien replacing hosebarbs on pump head DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN - a~ his W l d crack h- mke and exhaust ports in pump head..

VAC MOTOR REMOVAL

1.tilt off vac motor cooling air intake cover.

2.Oisconnect electrical connections.

3.Removevac hoses from chassis oudet

4Loosen strain relielnut and remove the (2) LOWER handle bolts.

5.Removescrews holdingmotor plate to chassis and lift-out motor.

VAC MOTOR BRUSHES

To inspectmotor brushes, removeh s t r hdder assembly. Brushes should be replaced when

wn to 318 inch or after about 7% operaeing hours. After second brushreplacement the ar- mature mmrnutalwshould techedcedfor pitling and concenlricity. Vac moton can be repaired but such repairs should be made by a qualified motor repair shop.

VAC SHOE

When re-imtalling vac shoe, do not overdghfen shoulder bolB. Leave enough locseness b al- low vac shoe to move up and down with tho height adjusting screw. A light coat of sillcon grease on the adjusting screw will ensure s m t h operation.
