Before installing a drill bit, test run the machine to iso- late any problems that may occur.
(% Plug the drill press into the power supply.
)% Turn the drill press FE; if there is a problem, turn the drill press F== immediately.
The drill press should run smoothly, with little or no vibration or rubbing noises. Strange or unusual noises should be investigated and corrected before operating the machine further. See GX^\*' for troubleshooting instructions.

For your convenience, the adjustments listed below have been performed at the factory and no further setup is required to operate your machine.
However, because of the many variables involved with shipping, some of these adjustments may need to be repeated to ensure optimum results. Keep this in mind as you start to use your new drill press.
