Setting the display brightness (Dimmer Setup)

You can change the brightness of the display.

1. Carry out steps 1 to 3 in “Checking the firmware version (Firm. Version)” (P.73).

The display changes for the system utility item selection.

2. Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/–, H or G on the remote control) to select “Dimmer Setup”.

3. Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote control) to display the current setting.

Rotating the MULTI JOG knob (pressing +/–, H or G on the remote control) changes the setting as follows.

The display brightness has been set.

5. Press a or MENU to exit.

The unit returns to the stop mode.

Setting the video output (VIDEO Output)

You can switch the on-screen display output through the VIDEO OUT jacks on and off.

Rotating the MULTI JOG knob (pressing +/–, H or G on the remote control) switches the setting between “VIDEO On” and “VIDEO Off”.

The on-screen display output is set to on or off.

Select “VIDEO Off” if the on-screen display is not used so that you can enjoy playback or recording with higher quality sounds.
