RECORDING FUNCTIONS

Applying dynamic range compression to a recording

CD discs can be enjoyed in car CD players, but often sounds can get lost when competing with engine noises and other factors. To remedy this problem, this recorder features an effect that essentially records a compressed sound range in which soft sounds are boosted and louder sounds are lowered and produces music that can be more fully enjoyed when listening to CDs in a car or similar environment.
