Changing the country

The set ﬁlter values depend on the respective country. It is therefore necessary to

enter the country to which these ﬁlter values apply.

1Switch on the TV set. If required, select the programme number for the DVD

recorder.

2Switch on the DVD recorder using B/I.

3Press SYSTEM-MENU. The menu bar appears

4Select the “ ” icon using t or u.

5Select line “ (Disc features)” using w or v and conﬁrm with u.

6Conﬁrm the line “Access control” using u.

7Enter your four-digit code. If the code is new, you may have to enter the code a

second time as conﬁrmation.

8Select “Change country” using w or v and conﬁrm with u.

9Select the corresponding country using v or w and conﬁrm with ENTER/OK.

0To end, press t and then SYSTEM-MENU.

4Select the “ ” icon using t or u.

5Select “ (Disc features)�� using w or v and conﬁrm with u.

6Conﬁrm “Access control” using u.

7Enter your four-digit PIN code. If the code is new, you may have to enter the code

a second time as conﬁrmation.

8Select “Change code” using v or w and conﬁrm with u.

9Enter the new code using the number buttons 0..9. Enter the same code again as

conﬁrmation.

0Quit using t and SYSTEM-MENU.

Tip

I have forgotten my code

Press STOP four times (step 7), then press ENTER/OK. Access control is

now switched off. You can now enter a new code as described above.
