Utility – Delete

This function allows you to delete individual ﬁles of User data you’ve saved to

ﬂoppy disk.

1Insert the ﬂoppy disk into the disk drive.

2Press the [UTILITY] button.

The ﬁlename will appear at the top of the display.

To exit from the UTILITY screen, press the [UTILITY] button twice.

3Select the ﬁle to be deleted.

Use the [+]/[-] buttons.

4Press the [EXECUTE] button.

5Execute the delete operation.

Press the [+] button (“YES”), and the Delete operation will start. Once

started, the operation cannot be canceled.

As the ﬁle is deleting, “Deleting” will appear on the top line of the display.

When the operation is completed, the following display brieﬂy appears.

If you do not intend to delete the ﬁle, press the [-] button (“NO”) instead of

the [+] button (“YES”).

To exit from the UTILITY screen, press the [UTILITY] button twice.

• If the [UTILITY] button is pressed

when there is no ﬂoppy disk

inserted into the disk drive, a “No

disk” message appears at the top

of the display, and all disk opera-

tions will be disabled.

• When the ﬂoppy disk’s write-pro-

tect tab is set to ON (see page

70) or the disk is a purposely

“copy-protected” disk, a “Protect”

message appears, indicating that

the Utility function is not possible.

• SMF ﬁles are indicated by “d-s”.

• Only ﬁles that were created on

the PSR-350 and were saved as

ﬁles (User song, etc.) can be

deleted. When there are no ﬁles

on disk that the PSR-350 can

delete, the FORMAT display

appears instead of DELETE,

when the [UTILITY] button is

pressed.
