Note: These keys are available only when the tuner is selected as the input source for the second room.
+: Press this key to select the next preset station number.
A/B/C/D/E: Selects the group (A – E) of preset station numbers.
4CD player keys
Control compact disc players.
* The DISC is used for compact disc changers only.
5POWER ON and OFF keys
Press the POWER ON key to turn on the power. Press the OFF key to set this unit into the standby mode.
6VOLUME ZONE 2 + (up) and – (down) keys
Increase or decrease the output level of signals sent to the amplifier in the second room only.
7Input selector keys
Press a key to select the input source.
Note: These keys are available only when the REC OUT/ZONE 2 selector on the front panel of this unit is set to the SOURCE/REMOTE position.
Otherwise, the setting of the REC OUT/ZONE 2 selector controls the input source for the second room.

Notes
•If you use the ZONE 2 remote controller in the main room, the input selector keys and VOLUME ZONE 2 keys affect the settings for the second room, not for the main room. The other keys affect the settings for the main room if they are used in the main room.
•If you select a unit playing back a source encoded with DTS for the second room, a loud hissing noise or no sound may be output from the speakers in the second room.
Caution
In some cases, adjustments made by the ZONE 2 remote controller may cause something undesirable. For example, when the tuner is selected in the main room and second room, it is possible that the listener in the second room changes the station. This may be a problem, especially when you are taping a source in the main room without monitoring it.
