If your video cassette recorder, video disc player, monitor, etc., are equipped with “S” (high-resolution) video terminals, connect them to this unit’s SÊ VIDEO terminals. Otherwise, use the composite video terminals of the unit.

ON SCREEN DISPLAY

If you connect a video cassette recorder, video disc player, monitor, etc., to this unit, you can display DSP program names and information about the other settings and adjustments on the video monitor screen. This information is superimposed over the video image.

If there is no program material on the monitor, the information will be displayed over a monochromatic back- ground.

Notes:

If you use a video monitor that is connected to both the SÊ VIDEO and composite terminals, the screen display informa- tion is only output from the SÊ VIDEO terminals.

When no video signal is input to any of the SÊ VIDEO or composite video input terminals, the screen display information is output from the SÊ VIDEO and composite MONITOR OUT terminals with a monochromatic background.
