The water softener must be set in both ways:
manually, using the water hardness dial and
electronically.
Setting the water softener manually (see table)
Set switch to position 1 or
2
The water softener is factory set at position 2.
Setting electronically
The dishwasher is factory set at level 5.
Enter Option menu - HARDNESS.
Using the scrolling button set the level of the
water softener according to the hardness of the
water in your area (see chart).
Use of dishwasher salt CAUTION!
Use only special salt suitable for dishwashers.
Unscrew the cap. Only before filling with
salt for the first time, fill
the salt container with wa-
ter.
Using the funnel provided,
pour in the salt until the
container is filled with salt.
