Operation

Hob burners control knobs

The symbols on the knobs mean that :

there is no gas supply

there is maximum gas supply

	there is minimum gas supply
Lighting		the	burners
	For easier		lighting,		proceed before putting
)z	a pan on the pan support.
	To light a burner:
	turn the relevant knob anti-clockwise to maximum
	position (		), then push it down to ignite the
	burner.					Triple crown burner
Only for model ZGS 682 ICT
z	Upon ignition, keep the knob pushed down
	about	5 seconds.			This will allow the	A
	"thermocouple" (see diagram - letter D) to be					B
	heated and the safety device to be switched
	off, otherwise			the	gas supply would be
	interrupted.					D
z	Then adjust the flame as required.
						C
	If the burner does not ignite, turn the control knob
	to zero, and try again.					A - Burner cap
	If you	cannot		light	the flame even after	B - Burner crown
						C - Ignition electrode
	severalattempts, check the "cap" (see diagram
						D - Thermocouple (only in
	- letter A) and the"crown" (see diagram - letter
						model ZGS 682 ICT)
	B) are in the correct position.
