Checking Printer Status
Checking Printer StatusPrinter status is communicated to AirWatch via alerts. The following table identifies the current alerts managed by AirWatch Connector.
Alert | Description |

PAPER OUT | Paper is out. |
RIBBON OUT | Ribbon is out. |
HEAD TOO HOT | The printhead is too hot to print. |
HEAD COLD | The printhead is too cold to print. |
HEAD OPEN | The printhead/media door is open. |
SUPPLY TOO HOT | The power supply is too hot. |
RIBBON IN | The ribbon has been loaded in the printer. |
REWIND | The rewind unit is full (for tabletop printers with a rewind unit). |
CUTTER JAMMED | The cutter is jammed. |
HEAD ELEMENT BAD | A printhead element has burned out. |
POWER ON | The printer has powered on. |
CLEAN PRINTHEAD | This alert is sent when the printing odometer has reached the |
| number of meters printed. |
| Note • This alert is set using the Set/Get/Do command |
| “device.cph_interval”. The airwatch console shows the |
| setting as “Clean Printhead Interval”. |
MEDIA LOW | The paper/media is low. |
RIBBON LOW | The ribbon is low. |
REPLACE HEAD | The printhead needs to be replaced. |
BATTERY LOW | The battery charge is low. |
RFID ERROR | The RFID encoding has encountered an error. |
COLD START | The printer has been powered on. |
