Troubleshooting

Check the following items first if there seems to be a problem with the RT-123.

Symptom

Troubleshooting

Is supplied AC adapter connected properly?

Is [OUTPUT] jack connected correctly to the playback system?

Is there a problem with the shielded cable?

Is the connected playback system operating normally?

Is volume of RT-123 set correctly?

Is output level of RT-123 set too high?

Is RT-123 set to mode other than song mode?

Is memory capacity limit reached?

Is FS01 connected correctly to [FOOT SW] jack?

Is desired function of FS01 activated?

Is the MIDI receive function set to ON?

Connect AC adapter as described in "Getting Connected" (page 7). Use only the supplied AC adapter.

Make connections as described in "Getting Connected" (page 7).

Try using another cable.

Check the system and make sure that the volume level is adjusted properly.

Set [VOLUME] control to a suitable position.

Set [VOLUME] control of RT-123 to a suitable position.

Activate song mode (page 34).

Delete unneeded patterns and songs.

Make connections as described in "Getting Connected" (page 7).

Use [FUNCTION] key and pad 9 (FOOT SW) to select function (p. 47).

Use the [FUNCTION] key and pad 13 (MIDI) to change the setting from "Int" (MIDI clock receive disabled) to "Midi" (MIDI clock receive enabled).
