What you will need

Make sure that you have received the following items:

•USB modem with built-in USB cable

•Phone cord

•CD containing installation and communications software.

You also need the following:

•A PC running Windows® Vista, XP, 2000, Me, or 98SE or

a Macintosh running OS X or 9.x or

a Linux-based computer

•Available USB port on your computer

•DVD or CD drive

•A telephone jack to plug the modem into, so the modem can dial out and receive calls.
