Note : La Figure 8 montre une autre méthode de fixation de la rallonge, pouvant être uti- lisée avec les rallonges de calibre supérieur qui ne passent pas par l’orifice dans la partie inférieure de la poignée.

DÉMARRAGE DU TAILLE-HAIE À PERCHE

Le taille-haie à perche est doté d’un bou- ton de verrouillage de la gâchette sur le dessus de la poignée. Ce dispositif de sécurité verrouille la gâchette en position

«ARRÊT », évitant ainsi le démarrage accidentel du taille-haie.

Le bouton de verrouillage comporte trois positions:

Position 1 – verrouille la gâchette.

Position 2 – vous permet d’appuyer sur la gâchette et de faire fonctionner le taille-haie. Le bouton de verrouillage retourne automati- quement en position 1 lorsque vous relâchez la gâchette.

Position 3 – permet de verrouiller la gâchette en position « MARCHE ». Cela est pratique lorsque vous vous servez du taille-haie de façon continue pendant une période prolongée.

Déverrouillage de la gâchette pour faire démarrer le taille-haie

1.Au moyen du pouce, appuyez sur le bouton de verrouillage de la gâchette pour le faire passer en position 2. Appuyez ensuite sur la gâchette en position « MARCHE ». Le taille-haie à perche devrait se mettre en marche.

2.Relâchez le bouton de verrouillage lorsque le taille-haie fonctionne. Le bouton de verrouillage reviendra auto- matiquement à la position 1 chaque fois que vous relâcherez la gâchette.

Verrouillage du taille-haie en position « MARCHE »

1.Au moyen du pouce, appuyez sur le bouton de verrouillage de la gâchette pour le faire passer en position 2. Appuyez ensuite sur la gâchette en position « MARCHE ». Le taille-haie à perche devrait se mettre en marche.

2.Pendant que le taille-haie fonctionne, poussez de nouveau le bouton de ver- rouillage vers l’avant, en position 3. Maintenez le bouton dans cette posi- tion tout en relâchant la gâchette, puis relâchez le bouton de verrouillage. Cela verrouille la gâchette en position « MARCHE » et assure le fonctionne- ment continuel du taille-haie.

3.Pour arrêter le taille-haie, appuyez sur la gâchette puis relâchez-la. Le bouton de verrouillage de la gâchette retourne en position 1, verrouillant ainsi la gâ- chette en position « ARRÊT ».

Note : Si le taille-haie à perche est ver- rouillé en position « MARCHE », mais qu’il se débranche de l’alimentation élec- trique, désactivez le verrouillage (position

«MARCHE ») avant de rebrancher l’ali- mentation.
