4. Hard-water Treatment

Excessive water hardness (>15° dH) can lead to deposits and result in malfunctions. Contact the manufacturer in the event of unusually high degrees of water hardness.

5. Preparations for Commissioning

nThoroughly rinse entire HD system

(HD 4000/6000 C also). Check entire HD system for correct assembly and lack of leaks.

nComplete electrical connections in accordance with the Specifications contained in the Operating Instructions.

nCheck the function of decalcifying component (if required).

nCheck water supply for required delivery volume and maximum allowable temperature.

nCheck cold-water cooling circulation: Verify cooling water volume (refer to Specifications) and connection data.

nInstall float reservoir overflow line

nCheck pump oil level. Remove threaded plug from oil reservoir.

Adjusting cooling water volume on pressure regulator.
