Speaker Setup

Before operating your machine, you need to set up the speaker configuration and the delay time from the listening position to each speaker.

Speaker Setup

Turning on/off the digital output

SETUP

1. Press SETUP button while the disc is

 

stopped.

The setup main menu appears on the display.

2. Press button to select the “SPEAKER SETUP”, then press ENTER to move the speaker setup menu.

The speaker setting menu appears on the display.

Adjusting Each Speaker's Position

If each speaker’s position is disabled on the TV screen, select

DIGITAL OUT OFF.

1. Press button to select the “FRONT POS.” while the “SPEAKER SETUP” menu is displayed on the TV screen, then press to confirm.

The front speaker position value appears on the display.

2. Press button to select the speaker’s distance, then press ENTER to confirm.

The speaker’s distance can be adjusted between 5 FT / 2.5m and 30 FT / 9.2 m.

3.Repeat step 1~2 to adjust other speaker’s position.

4. To stop the SPEAKER SETUP

Press button to select “MAIN PAGE”, then press ENTER button.

5. To exit the SETUP.

 

Press SETUP button.

Adjusting Each Speaker's Relative

Volume Balance – Test Tone

If headphones are connected, remove the headphones.

1.Press button to select the “TEST TONE” while the “SPEAKER SETUP” menu is displayed on the TV screen, then press button to move.

Each speaker emits the test tone (pink noise) in the following order:

SubWoofer

(Subwoofer)

3. Press CH.LEVEL repeatedly to select the speaker, then press to raise or lower the volume level until you have an equal volume balance with the other speakers at your listening position. The volume level can be adjusted between -15 and +15dB.

5.To exit the DIGITAL OUT on/off. Press button.

4.To stop the SPEAKER SETUP

Press button to select “MAIN PAGE”, then press ENTER button.

6.To exit the SETUP. Press SETUP button.

4. To stop the test tone.

Press SETUP button to exit TEST TONE.
