Spark arrester maintenance
mIf the generator has been running, the muffler will be.very hot. Allow it to cool before proceeding.
CAUTION: The spark arrester must be serviced every 100 hours to maintain its efficiency.
1. Loosen the five 6 mm bolts to remove the muffler protedtor.

2.Remove the two 8 mm bolts at the exhaust pipe and the 8 mm bolt at the muffler stay.
Remove the muffler and the spark arrester.
