Intel Desktop Board DG33FB Product Guide

ENERGY STAR* Qualified

In 2007, the US Department of Energy and the US Environmental Protection Agency revised the ENERGY STAR requirements. Intel worked directly with these two governmental agencies to define the new requirements. Currently Intel Desktop Boards meet the new ENERGY STAR requirements.

For information about the ENERGY STAR specifications, see: http://www3.intel.com/cd/channel/reseller/asmo-na/eng/337748.htm.

Speaker

Battery

A battery on the Desktop Board keeps the values in CMOS RAM and the clock current when the computer is turned off. Go to page 54 for instructions on how to replace the battery.

Real-Time Clock

The Desktop Board has a time-of-day clock and 100-year calendar. The battery on the Desktop Board keeps the clock current when the computer is turned off.
