3.2.1Accessing the BIOS Setup program

To access the BIOS Setup program, press F2 as soon as the computer starts up and you see the information “Press [F2] for SETUP, Press [F10] for boot device selection menu”.

Note: The information BIOS shows might be different based on the different hardware configuration

The Menu bar

The top of the Setup screen has a menu bar with the following selections:

Use this menu to change the basic system configuration.

Use this menu to enable and change the advanced features available on your system.

Use this menu to set User and Supervisor passwords. Use this menu to specify the order in which the Notebook is to check for a device to boot the system.
