Pro-L Card Printer User’s Manual

Resin-Only Ribbons

Resin-only ribbons consist of a continuous roll of a single resin color. No protective overlay panel (O) is provided since resin images do not require the protection of such an overlay. The following resin-only ribbon types are available:

 

Standard Resin Black (K)

This ribbon provides high resin durability ideal

 

(provides 1,000 prints)

for most general purpose monochrome ID card

Dye-Sublimation-Only Ribbons

Dye-sublimation-only ribbons are available in either monochrome or full-color versions. These ribbons consist of a series of dye-sublimation ribbon panels which alternate with a clear protective overlay (O) panel. Dye-sublimation images must have either an overlay panel or an overlaminate applied to them or they will quickly begin to wear or fade. The following dye-sublimation-only ribbon types are available:

 

Dye-Sublimation Black (BO)

This ribbon provides a dye-sublimation black
