remove any disc from the drive before the

ALWAYS

store a disc in its case to prevent dust contamination, scratches, bending, and other damage

use a clean, soft and dry cloth to remove dust or fingerprints. Never use fluids like benzene or anti-static fluids to clean a disc

handle a disc by its edges

NEVER

touch the surface of the disc

write on a disc or place a label on the surface of the disc

￿bend a disc

place or store a disc in places with high temperature and humidity or under direct sunlight
