6.Click the ￿￿￿￿￿￿￿'￿'*￿￿tab and check whether the CD-ROM drive is listed.

If the CD-ROM icon is listed in both Step 3 and this step, you can stop here. Windows 95 has successfully recognized your new CD-ROM drive. Otherwise, proceed with Steps 7 and 8.

7.Install the supplied device driver under DOS by following the instructions given in Section 3.2.1.

8.Restart Windows 95 and repeat Step 3.

the Device Manager’s listing for reasons beyond this manual’s purposes).
