Congratulations! You have just made a very important upgrade for your PC. By installing the PHILIPS 8X or 10X CD-ROM drive into your IBM PC/compatible, you can now take advantage of the vast host of multimedia software available today at a higher performance than ever. Whether you are interested in the Encyclopedia Britanica, educational games, using your computer as a digital music studio or composing a business presentation with sound, graphics and animation, your new CD-ROM drive will be the tool to efficiently and effectively get all that information into your computer.

Access time at 145 ms for PCA102CD and 155 ms for PCA82CR

Data transfer rate at 1,500 KB/sec for PCA102CD and 1,200 KB/sec for PCA82CR

Built in 128 KB buffer

Motorized tray for loading and unloading CDs

Standard size: fits into a standard 5.25 inch half-height PC disk drive bay

Emergency eject for manual disc ejection
