Turning off the server
The server can be turned off in any of the following ways:
vIf the system is connected to an ASM interconnect network that contains at least one system with an optional Remote Supervisor Adapter installed, the system can be turned off from the Remote Supervisor Adapter user interface.
vIf an optional Remote Supervisor Adapter is installed in the system, the system can be turned off from the Remote Supervisor Adapter user interface.
Complete the following steps to manually turn off the server:
1.Review the information in “Safety” on page v.
2.See your operating system documentation for the proper procedure to shut down the operating system.
When you turn off the server, observe the following precaution.
