Ÿ1 Mbps, 500-Kbps, or 250 Kbps internaltapedrive

Seria l ports

Two universalasynchronousreceiver/transmitter(UART) serialportsareintegratedintothesystem board. The serialportsinclude16-bytedata,first-firstin-out(FIFO)buffersand have programmable baud

rategenerators.The serialportsareNS16450 and PC16550A

compatible.

Integratedin thesystemboardissupportforextendedcapabilitiesport(ECP), enhancedparallelport (EPP), and standardparallelport(SPP) modes . The modes ofoperationareselectedthroughthe Configuration/SetupUtilityprogram withthedefaultmode settoSPP . The ECP and EPP modes are compliant withIEEE 1284.
